DOGS FOR ADOPTION

It goes without mentioning, Arlo is a very cute and sweet little dog. He can be nervous of new people and so needs to spend time getting to know you. Once he does he'll most probably sit on your lap for a cuddle. Arlo would love a calm household with no children or other pets

Little Dave came in with his brothers and sisters who have all been rehomed, but he can't seem to find his own forever home just yet. Like most puppies, he has lots of energy and will need training with experienced owners, especially as he will turn into a big boy! He is very receptive, and even more so with treats. Most importantly he is a very sweet and kind natured little chap who would love to find his perfect home.

Bogart is a bif softy. He has a lovely, calm nature and is not bothered by other passing dogs. He enjoys going for walks and relaxing in the sun (we can't disagree there!) Bogart will make the perfect companion to enjoy his racing retirement with.

Gemma is a beautiful, gentle girl. She can be a little shy with new people and so friendly once she's comfortable. Gemma loves going for walks and walks nicely on the lead. Although very quick, greyhounds don't need large amounts of exercise, so Gemma is looking forward to putting her feet up and enjoying her retirement from racing in a lovely new home.

Woody is always happy to see everyone, he is such a friendly boy and loves getting plenty of attention too. He loves going for walks and is alert when out and about. This retired racer would love a nice home he'll be able to enjoy his retirement in.

Crystal is a sweet and playful staffy. She has lots of energy and will need a home where she will get plenty of exercise. Still quite young, Crystal does pull on the lead and she is aggressive towards other dogs when walking, so we would recommend an experienced owner who will be able to teach and calm her. Because of this we'd recommend a home without young children, and also no other pets. Crystal is such a happy and kind girl, she loves people, lots of love and affection and will make a wonderful companion.

Scar is a very affectionate dog who has been recovering from an operation in a foster home and is now ready to find his forever home. Here are a few reasons why Scar will make a great companion:

• Now house trained

• Good with calm dogs, ignores others

• Enjoys travelling in cars

• Can be left on his own for a few hours at a time

• Walks perfectly on the lead

• Attracts a lot of attention from passers-by on walks!

Such a gentle girl, Timer is an ex-racing hound and is very much looking forward to enjoying her well deserved retirement. Timer would like a relaxed home where she will get plenty of love and snoozes! She is not bothered about other dogs and good with children but we are not sure what she's like with cats. 

Berlin is a large and beautiful boy, who is always up for a walk with or without other dogs. Of course, like many greyhounds, one of his favourite past-times is lying in the sun and he'd love a home where he will be able to have a good mix of walking and relaxing!

Harbour is a very sweet greyhound and hopeful in finding a quiet and peaceful new home. After her years of racing she would love to make a perfect companion. She is not bothered about other dogs and good with children but we are not sure what she's like with cats. Harbour arrived with Timer and it would be great if we could keep them together.

Poncho is a very sweet Belgium Malinios. He is good with children, cats and other dogs, and really well trained! Being a Malinois he is, of course, a clever boy and hopes to go to a home where he will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Poncho can't wait to meet a new loving family. 

Contrary to his name, Rex is a very sweet natured boy. He likes people and other dogs, but we're not sure how he feels about cats. Like many German Shepherds, Rex is a clever cookie and will need a home where he will have plenty of mental stimulation and experienced owners who are able to spend lots of time with him. He loves going on walks and learning new tricks and we know he will be a perfect companion for the right home.

Lovely Ziggy is a very cute Parson Russell Terrier who loves going for walks and playing with anyone who will play with him. He can't go to a home with any other dogs and he will need dedicated training as he still quite young. Little Ziggy is very excited to find the perfect new home for him with plenty of exercise and love.

As you can see Simba is a handsome boy, whilst at the same time being so friendly and sweet natured. Simba is very obedient with experienced dog owners who know how to handle large dogs like him, so will need a new owner just like this. He can also pull like a train on the lead, so caution is needed! He is not bothered about other dogs and shouldn't be rehomed with young children. Simba is a lovely dog and will make a fantastic companion.

This very smiley boy can't stop wagging his tail, he seems very happy all the time! Spike will make a wonderful companion in any home, he is not bothered about other dogs (although he’s a bit too interested in little dogs to be homed with one). Spike is good with children but should not be rehomed with cats. As an ex-racer he is looking forward to a comfortable home where he can put his feet up and chill in a loving home.
